What’s the weather like where you live? Usually cold and cloudy but in summer it is nice.
What are your favorite foods? Ice cream, macaroni and cheese, grapes, oysters and Tangfastics (Haribo).
What are traditional foods where you are from? Full English breakfast, fish and chips
What was a typical day life before coronavirus? I would wake up at 6:30, go to school, see friends, go home; do homework, read and go to bed.
Now what is a typical day like? I wake up a couple of hours later than usual, eat breakfast, sign in to online school, play time and screen time in the late afternoon. (Before, we didn’t have screens on weekdays! But we also spent about an hour and a half commuting on the bus and Tube.)
Are you attending school/classes/activities? Tell us about it! For PE I go for runs with my Dad, I meet my math tutor on FaceTime. My Latin teacher is on Zoom and so is my piano teacher. I spend about 2.5 hours a day having live classes and lessons, and the rest of the time I work independently.
What do people like to do for fun where you live? We used to go to the gym, play squash, go to museums, book shops, restaurants. Now we play on the computer, read, go to the park, play sylvanian families. There isn’t as much to do because we have to stay home. I meet my friends on Zoom. I spend a lot more time on screens now.
What are some jobs/professions of family members? Writer, fund manager
Whom do you admire? J.K. Rowling, Mum and Dad
What brings you happiness? Reading, writing stories, talking with my friends, playing with my brother (when we don’t fight), being with my grandparents, going to sleep at the end of a long day.
