Michelle Glorieux
Founder & CEO
Michelle relishes (and admittedly sometimes faces challenges over) culturally diverse, multilingual living with her trilingual family in Benelux, smack dab at the border of Belgium, Luxembourg, France and Germany.
Michelle was born and raised in the homogenous South of the United States, but a stint abroad in Germany as a small child forever wet her appetite for all things language and diversity. She would go on to study language in college (university), teach languages on 4 continents, marry someone from a language and culture different from her own, and manage a multilingual household; all of which beautifully culminated in what she feels was her reason for being, founding TA-DA! Language Productions.
She lives for children’s causes and calls herself lucky for having been able to do what she loves - teaching French and English around the globe [kindergarten in South Korea, English to all aged children in Ethiopia, French in an IB high school program and university in Dallas, Texas; ESL to ages 3 and up in Benelux…].
Michelle has degrees in both language and radio/TV/film and was a journalist in another life. When she returns to her roots, she’s with family in Nashville, Tennessee, sporting cowboy boots - and just maybe letting slip the occasional ‘y’all’.
I taught languages on four continents and then became the mom to a little angel who needed languages that I could not speak. No matter where I hung my hat, the families of my beloved students (and ultimately my own) could not find appropriate resources to teach young children languages. That’s when I got creative.
I am proud to be the founder and CEO of TA-DA! Language Productions.
Our EdTech startup works around the clock to bring languages and cultures to our youngest learners in age appropriate ways, starting with 'touch paper tech' - yep, TALKING BOOKS. All it takes is the touch of a li’l finger on normal paper products we know and love - now smart, and our kids can delight in hearing, in addition to seeing, the colorful world that we inhabit - directly from REAL humans located all over the world... in SUPERB sound quality - in some series, in high-def, CD quality.
Globetrotting language teacher, mommy to a required multilingual and Founder & CEO of TA-DA! Language Productions, I am deeply committed to bringing the world to our most precious resource, our children, as I see it as the key to cultivating a more inclusive, open-minded, peaceful planet.
I am a dedicated educator, lover of learning and fascinated by all things language and culture related.I get out of bed to make a difference. Personal mottos: “Make it happen”, "Enjoy the ride", and "Never give up".
Join me in holding my hand from time to time as building this endeavor from the ground up has forced me to explore these adages more than I ever have, yet intrinsically linked to accomplishing something truly great.
