What is your name? My name is Christian.

How old are you? I am 5 and 1/2

Where do you live? I live in San Francisco Bay, California, USA. 

What language do you speak? I speak English, Dutch and French. (I am American and Belgian.)

What’s the weather like where you live? Sunny.

What’s the geography/terrain like there? There is a lot of grass here  - and both the mountains (3 1/2 hour car ride) and ocean (45 minute car ride) are close by!

What are your favorite foods? Pasta, pizza and ice cream!

What are traditional foods where you are from? I don’t know what traditional foods are. Ice cream maybe? I don’t know, mama.

What was a typical day life before coronavirus? I used to go to kindergarten at school. 

Now what is a typical day like? I am at home and I have a one hour video class (every day of the week at 9am.) I have a lot of homework too!

Are you attending school/classes/activities? Tell us about it! I take Dutch class now on the computer. I see my teacher and friends on the screen. And karate too.

What do people like to do for fun where you live? People go to the park, walk outside, go surfing, go skiing at Lake Tahoe.

What do people do for relaxation? Read books - or go camping and sleep in a tent. I have a tent in my living room right now too. It’s fun!

What are some jobs/professions of family members? My mommy does TA-DA! and my daddy helps companies. He’s in meetings on the phone all day.

Whom do you admire? I admire mommy and daddy. (Mom: “Why?”) Because they are so kind.

What brings you happiness? My mommy and daddy bring me happiness. Also my friends.
